Hey, I am an employee at Valleyfair (in Admissions/Operations), and for the past week or so, I have been asking different supervisors/managers/etc about new rides, and mentioning an inverted coaster, and everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) I have asked has told me that we are receiving an inverted coaster. I know, since all the CF Parks are recieving basically the same rides over time (Cedar Fair isnt too unpredictable), that that rumor is very realistic.
Today, when I asked another supervisor, he told me that we would be moving the Whitewater Country Waterpark (not to the picnic cove, but to the extra parking space near the front of the picnic cove), and charging extra admission for the two parks.
As soon as he said that, I asked about the inverted coaster, and he replied, the area where the waterpark currently resides would make room for a new coaster. And he also said, and I quote, "I'm certain the next ride will be an inverted coaster."
I rode Power Tower after getting off work, and I saw work with bulldozers/cranes being done exactly in the area my supervisor mentioned.
Just thought I'd share a Valleyfair update, and I would just like to say, I GUARANTEE an inverted coaster for Valleyfair sometime soon.
