Rough Day at SFWOA

Last Sunday I visted SFWOA for the first time since Six Flags purchased Geagua Lake. I arrived at the park a bit late and I wanted to ride X Flight but they were only running one train and the line was outrageous. So I decided to head over to Mind Eraser which to my dismay was broken down. So i went over to Superman for my first ever ride. I waited about a half an hour but it was well worth it, that ride is incredible! After I disembarcked I headed over to the Villain, I wasn't aware that it had a steel structure but it was an excellent woodie with good air time. After this I went on Batman, my first floorless coaster, and this instantly became one of my favorite coasters, the first drop is great and the rest of the ride is very exciting, many inversions and exciting twists. After going on Batman I wanted to try out Time Warp but it was also broken down. So I headed over to X-Flight again but it too was broken down. After this I managed to get on Big Dipper and tried to get on raging Wolf Bobs but... you guessed it, it was also under repair. DId the ride mechanics take the day off? Although I was impressed with the new rides the overall quality of the park was very disappointing.

Could you describe the ruckus?

I was there the EXACT same day and had a totally different experiance. Read my post. I rode on everything except mind eraser, it was broke down when the park opened, and was out of there by 1:30 to go to cedar point! Interesting how two people at the same park can have such totally different experiances and perceptions.

Six Flags did NOT purchase Geauga Lake!!! Premier Parks bought Funtime Inc. (which owns Geauga Lake) in Augaust/September 1995 and Premier Parks BOUGHT Six Flags in February of 1998 and Converted Geauga Lake into A Six Flags branded park in December of 1999.

Again, Mind Easer and ALL other SF owned boomerang coasters are closed untill further notice due the "accident" on the one at SFFT. They have started using Flashback at SFOT again, but a Vekoma employee is there watching.

OOOOPPPPS there SFOT...you better fix your response before John Peck yells at you. It is Premier owned boomerang coasters. By the way I was at SFWoA a couple of weeks ago and had a pretty bad day with broken down coasters and rude ride ops as well. It seems they better start reversing this trend or it will be hard for them to brake out of this Funk.

Premier changed their name to Six Flags, Inc. Besides, they didn't close some of their oversees boomerangs like in Belgium.

Mind Eraser has been reopened.
