Why does Intamin call S:UE & V2"Impulse coasters"

Like I said above, Why does Intamin call S:UE & V2"Impulse coasters" ???
I know impulse is a sudden reaction or something like that. Maybe because they suddenly shoot you out of the station?? Or of the acceleration?
What does everybody else think??

BMCoaster is right, they call them impulse coasters because there is no lift hill and you are shot out of the station on an "impulse".

It is simple. It is called an impulse coaster because you are powered by impulses of electricity!

The electricity is not the impulse It is the magnets, wich just happen to be electric magnets. That is The magnets cause the impulse of force.
