I still maintain that the floorless effect does not add much to the ride. Even in the front seat, it didn't induce fright or make the ride seem any better. While I don't think floorless trains can hurt a ride, the lower cost of rolling stock like that on Wildfire may draw many parks away from the floorless design. So I guess that I do think the floorless effect is nothing to drool over, although not a bad idea.
On a side note, am I the only person not impressed by Kraken? The ride just didn't do much for me--it seemed like it went through all the motions, but didn't deliver great excitement. For some reason, I though Kumba stood head and shoulders above Kraken, despite Kraken's superior first drop. The zero-G roll camelback on Kumba has to be one of the most amazing moments in all of coastering. I guess Kraken just seemed to tame for me--I enjoyed it, but the "coaster rush" was not there for me, and it completely lacked intensity.
Of the "above the rails while sitting" beemers I've ridden, I think Kumba reigns king, while Wildfire is a close second (I love how it just hurls you through inversion after inversion, and the drop is killer). I liked Kraken, but I didn't think it to be anything special. And I left the Hulk incredibly disappointed...awesome start, possibly the worst finish of any coaster.

According to the "official" count, next year's new coaster lineup will feature 17 Arrow 4-Ds, 21 TA2Ks, 34 B&M floorless's, 17 Intamin Gigas, 12 beemer flyers, and 247 CCIs. And oh yeah, CP will receive one of all of these.
