Canada's oldest steel coaster, at Chippewa Park, will be retired for safety reasons

A ride that's provided thrills and chills to thousands of Thunder Bay children for about 45 years is shutting down. The city has decided to decommission the roller coaster at Chippewa Park because of safety concerns.

Did anyone here ever get to ride this? A friend that grew up in Thunder Bay said that as a kid they were afraid it was going to fall over. But apparently it had great pops of air time.
