Cedar Point Question

Are Sundays good days to hit the park during the summer or are Mondays better? I want to know because I want to hit the main coasters more than once.

You must be kidding, hit the main coasters twice in one day? Cedar point is always BUSY!! Everytime I go there it takes at least two days to ride them once!

Actually, I went there during a Friday & Saturday, as crazy as that sounds.

I only had a long weekend to get there and those were the best days I could find. Anyway, I found the crowd to be lesser on Friday, of course, but on Saturday the park was open till 12 or 1am (I forgot). It was open an hour longer which was good.

Well, anyway... the point I'm getting to is that you CAN hit the good coasters more than once per day. I think I hit 11 of the 14 coasters on one day (all except Wildcat, Woodstock, & Jr. Gemini).

Monday is OBVIOUSLY the better day (it's a week-day). But you can hit the coasters in the early morning with virtually no crowd, around noon-1pm while everyone is chowing down on lunch & between 5-7pm while everyone is having a dinner meal. Even though the lines may be close to 30-1hr... that's a lot less than a 2 hour wait during the peek time!!!!

False. Monday is not a better day. Sunday is the best day to hit the park with Wednesdays seeming to be a close second. Our attendance figures from yesterday were low, and they stay proportionate throughout the season.

I don't see how any day on a weekend could be less crowded than any other day.

I love how my Mom always says when we take a trip to CP, "Well, it looks like it's gonna be crowded!"

Of course it's gonna be crowded... CP is a world-known resort, and if we take a trip in the summer, that's usually the time for family vacations.

I went there in Early June and I rode 47 coasters in 1 day. I rode every one at least once (excluding Jr. Gemini)

Here's my list:

Magnum - 20

MF - 6

Mantis - 4

Raptor - 2

Mean Streak - 3

Mine Ride - 3

Gemini - 3

Woodstock Express - 1

Wildcat - 1

DT - 1

Iron Dragon - 1

Corkscrew - 1

Blue Streak - 1

I also rode Dogems, PT (down), and Demon Drop.

You should easily be able to do all the major coasters at least once.

It seems that everyone else thinks the way you do. We are not as crowded on Sundays as people think. Part of it has to do with it being the last day of the weekend. A lot of weekend warriors don't want to drive a great distance to get to the park and then drive back and go to work the next morning. There were only 17,000 in the park yesterday. Today is close to 25,000

Sunday's in July are usually pretty crowded,I would go on a Tuesday or Wednesday.
