Teagan Marti walks more than a year after Dells accident

Tightly gripping a walker, Teagan Marti took about 20 short but sure steps to lead the several dozen people who gathered Sunday in her honor at Pine Trails Park. It was a major accomplishment for the 14-year-old Parkland girl who was seriously injured on July 30, 2010, in a fall from the Terminal Velocity ride at the Extreme World Amusement Park in the Wisconsin Dells.

This is nothing short of amazing. She has become quite the inspirational young lady by overcoming the obstacles that were caused by the accident. I am sure she and her family couldn't be happier. I know I am even though I don't know her personally. May you continue to get closer to normalcy everyday Teagan!

Yeah, this is amazing...glad to see she is progressing, but it also appears she still has a long, long road ahead...

I wish this individual nothing but the best!! This is a wonderful update hearing that she has taken steps! I hope God continues to bless her & her family with this miracle, and her road towards recovery!
