I guess not newsworthy, but damn, this hits the weird scale big time. Lego Land Florida opened a little over a week ago and this giant Lego Man shows up on the shores of a Sarasota Fl. beach.
My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.
My conspiracy mind is playing out here. This huge Lego Man showed up on the shores of Siesta Key Beach. It was named the number 1 beach for 2011 in the United States. Coincidence? This area (Sarasota) has seen a huge attendance boost which means alot of profit.

Legoland has done some shrewd marketing already. I'm sure they are involved with this.
I read elsewhere that this is like the third one of these Lego Men to wash up in various locations. It appears to be one of those off-the-wall "art" projects that pop up every now and then.
The amusement park rises bold and stark..kids are huddled on the beach in a mist

Yeah, I think so too.
LEGO has officially said the stunt is "in no way endorsed or sponsored by the LEGO Group or its affiliates" in other articles I've read on the story.
Well, I'm working on the assumption that Merlin/Legoland would be considered an affiliate.
Maybe the owner of the giant lego can no longer hide it. According to what I read, this giant Lego man was found on a beach in Florida Tuesday. And it's not the first time. Twice before Lego men have come on land on shorelines on the opposite side of the Atlantic. Source of article: Giant man of Lego washes up in Florida. This Giant Lego Man surely catches our attention.
