Good ride. I got my ride at about 9:30 last night. From my experience and a conversation with Rick Davis from DAFE, the park is still tweaking the ride. Some of the timing of the effects aren't synced with the trains quite right.

I rode once in the front row and didn't notice much problems with the timing. The braking is a little distracting from the flow of the ride. Hopefully they can find a way to make it more gradual and constant and not so "choppy".
The theming is top notch. Overall the ride reminded me of the amazing dark rides at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Big win for Knoebels!

Decided last minute NOT to go to PPP.
LOL, I'm signed up for PPP 2025 already - (and every year until then)! The only "complaint" this year was the weather left the foliage too much in the green/yellow hues and not enough orange/red. Even got a brass ring on my only carousel ride...got major bumper car time in this weekend.
Agreed on Black Diamond awesome theming and (lack of) pacing....but they'll have it worked out in time for next year's midsummer visit... ;)
Knoebels is K'fun!
I was pleasantly surprised to see that BD was open already, however, the line for the ride was always pretty long, and we decided against waiting for it. Will have to wait until next year's PPP to get a ride on it. Hopefully by then the line will be shorter and the capacity will be a bit better.

Even when the line was wrapped around the back of the international food court and almost out to the midway, I was told the wait was less than an hour.

@Jason and @Raven
We got in the (long) line for BD, and after about 15 minutes, we'd hardly moved.
I agree that normally an hour wait isn't that bad at all for a new coaster, but considering that the PPP event on Saturday night is only 4 hours, that would have been a significant amount of the overall ride time for the evening. Personally, I would have waited, but I had friends with me that had never been Knoebel's before, and I wanted them to experience as many of the rides at night as possible.
Sunday was basically the same story. We checked the BD line twice, and both times it was still pretty long. We elected to ride more rides than to wait for it.
It's all good. I still have my "free ride" ticket from PPP and I'll hold on to it for next year. Maybe I'll use it as an excuse to make a non-PPP visit :)

More visits to Knoebels are never a bad thing :-)
