$21 and something for the 'band, those individual ride tickets are insanely priced. Something closer to $5 a ride. Wait times? I've never waited long or much at all, like I said before, the GP cannot understand the rollercoaster, so it's yours while you're there, just hope the ops don't want to go home too early. Those fools closed up thirty minutes early last time I was there, I'm still complaining to those people, I feel it my duty to complain to the Pavilion because I'm going to be hating life with a beat up Hurricane. Anyways, an admission to the park is nothing but 5 tickets and a slip saying that you can be there with I think up to four people, this prevents loitering, which gets bad in Myrtle on weekends and holidays. The admission policy, started last season, has improved the park several notches as far as the peopkle there being real park patrons. Family Kingdom does not have that problem, the are further "off the strip".
Helices, blue train, if you hold on it ruins it! They get intense, I've felt my face slapping away astronaunt style. In the second set, if the scrambler's running, you must watch it it's wild! Especially at night. Your on ride will be funny, too because you're looking in a turned around motion:).
About the Pavilion, though, they hate to have to come to work. I've even seen things on the tracks, reported it, and had the maintance crew stand there, look at me like they were going to drag me off and beat on me, no kidding. I would think a park would take all such reports seriously, and if there were someone who would do something about some complaints I've made, much less take them serious and not look at me as "annoying customer", then that ride will run "forever". Like it goes, it doesn't stand a chance. It breaks my heart, it really does. Ride it soon, it may not be there, literally.......
