Six Flags New England is working to replace one of its original rides with a new attraction, a roller coaster to be called the "Giant Inverted Boomerang." As for the cost of the new project, Mance said more information, though not necessarily the cost, will be released on Sept. 1.

You know Vater, you are right. Now that I think about it, I do seem to remember a lot of people asking me if Paddlewheel Excursions went upside-down before they rode it. lol
...and PWE was the only ride where I didn't feel guilty telling them that yes, it indeed did go upside-down, not one time... not two times... not even three times, but exactly ZERO exciting times! And that PWE had exactly ZERO second of airtime!
I've been asked, at the entrance to Paddlewheel, if it was the entrance to Millennium Force before.
I remember a lot of people getting in line for Millennium Force but asking if it was the entrance to Mantis, while even pointing to Mantis.
I ran into a family with their faces planted into a park map, walking up the stairs to the ballroom above the arcade, and asking me, "Is this was the entrance to Wicked Twister?"
Then there is the really stupid, but funny joke of the family who asks, "Excuse me, but what time does the Ten O'clock Laser Show start?"
...So I am probably giving people more credit than they deserve. :p

I hated this ride the one time I rode it. Hanging from the restraints sucks and when the ride is in motion I felt like I was going to die from all the rattling.

I can tell you that even when it's converted to Terror Island's entrance, people still ask that question at an alarmingly high rate. As if I look anything like a MF ride op. :)
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
I'm going to Silverwood tomorrow, for a move credit. I'll revise or reinforce my opinion. :)

Yes, my expectations are high from all the hype y'all have given it.

The GIB's are a entirely different ride in the front, then they are in the middle. In the middle they are pretty force less, but they are lots of fun in the front or back.
Ride Aftershock in the front, and it will likely change your mind on GIB's
I will be there with ACE next weekend. I've been wanting to go there for years now.
