PKD and BGW Read Now!

Decieving Title eh? Anyway, i am going on a trip there and i need to know, what the lines are like now for both parks. How many days would be good for each, and so, what, to and fro. Thank you very much. I love you.

Another question... Does Hypersonic have ERT for season pass holders like their website claims? Carowinds, my home park, opens Top Gun 30 minutes early for pass holders. I called PKD and the rep told me no.

I just got back from both park 6/6 @ PKD and 6/7 @ Busch Garden. The crowds at both parks were pretty much non-existent. Hypersonic is running 2 trains and wait times average 1 to 1.5 hours. As for the ERT, I'm not aware of anything at PKD, PKI offers ERT to Gold Pass members on certain rides and days. Hope this helps and if you have any other questions, feel free to E-mail me.

Haven't been yet this season, so can't give you the most up-to-date information. Last year, though, Apollo's Chariot and Alpengeist had the longest lines. (That's not to say Lochie and BBW don't get long on weekends). I always hit Loch Ness first, move to the Wolf, the Alpengeist, and finally AC. This is more of a tradition than anything useful. I have, however, found that the Arrow coasters feel very smooth (especially for Arrows) if you ride them before the B&M's. If you ride the Arrows after the B&M's, they feel very rough in comparison.

In answer to your other question, you can do BGW in a single weekday. PKD can also be done in a single day, if you don't hit the waterpark. (Also if you don't spend all day waiting for Hypersonic).

Thursday will be our first PKD day, with the usual BGW on Friday. From personal experience there's alot for people to do around Williamsburgh in general for some reason, and I would never think of not going on a Friday, Fridays have always been good to me(see me banging on wood). Although, I've been to parks on slow Sundays, off peak times, but I could imagine they get wild at BGW for the weekend especially on Saturday. Anyways, nonsense aside, Cartsen, that's the usual order we hit! This time, though, we were thinking to toss tradition aside and see if doing it AC, Alpengeist first might give us more coaster rides while we're there:), who knows. Last fall at BGW we left late because I passed out on the couch and forgot to set the alarm(s), we had to wait in this long, long line of cars going into the park, and we didn't get in 'till almost two(EEEEEK!) but we only had one half hour wait the entire day.......

This year Busch designed an entirely new entrance for cars. I think it has something like 10 lanes, so at least that part should go better.

If you can stay 2 days at BGW, i would suggest it. Its a gorgeous park, and i wish i could have stayed much longer, last I was there in 98.

I did see the enterance traffic pattern thing last fall under the construction process, or I mean you could tell they were doing something. I'm telling you, I thought I was drivin' into the most busy place upon the world going in there, and it was dead in the park, glad to hear a fix.......
