Boy dies from head injuries in Knoebels pool

This a truly a tragic situation. It could happen to anyone of us just walking near a pool on slippery concrete..It was nice gesture that Knoebels pulled their website for this situation to offer condolences. In this situation I'd hate to even speculate/comment on the details.

What is there to speculate about? If witnesses saw the kid jumping in head first into the shallow end, I think we've got a pretty good grip on what happened.

Head first, feet first and slipped back, the variables of how one could hit their head while jumping into a pool. I guess I interpreted the article the wrong way. I figured there is more than 1 way to hit your head while jumping into a pool besides diving since the story didn't come out and say he was diving.

Was there or wasn't there a head injury? Early reports said yes, but a face book update from Knoebels from 14 hours ago said... "We have learned that there was no head injury, but the boy was seen under the water. "
