Just to correct a previous statement, PKI has not "caught on" to CPs great operations. PKI has always had great operations. I can't think of any day a ride has gone without operation. In 8 visits so far this year, the only thing I've seen closed was Monster one morning which was a "limited day" and KCKC and the Waterworks when it was supposed to be closed. So yes, no matter how short the lines and how low the attendance is PKI always is quick and effecient with getting things in operation as long as mechanical problems are not the case(I believe CP operates the exact same way?). I have not seen a coaster closed all day, any day since SOB last year, unless and in SOB's case, severe mechanical problems. And if any still have a problem with that, don't forget delays of X, V2, V2, Phantom's Revenge, X-Flight, Batwing, Deja Vu, Deja Vu, Acrophobia, and (surprise, surprise) Deja Vu. And most of that was due to non-mechanical problems. So tell me Jeff, what exactly has been the "problem" in the past? What exactly was closed? I went last year and Magnum was closed. That doesn't mean they were a little off in good operations that day. PKI has some of the best management in the entire US. Right up there with CP. I would say the only differences between the two parks pretty much level themselves out as equally excellent parks. One has more flat rides and some better coasters(with it's share of not-so-great ones). The other makes up by having all at least decent coaster, an excellent, free waterpark, themes, and a better kids selection. Both are viewed as World Class as well.
PS-I can't remember what I just typed. I'm very tired. If anything was offensive, sorry ahead of time as it was in my opinion. Thanks!
And on the subject, all of the coasters were open the day I went besides Raging Wolf Bobs. I believe a few flat rides were closed but I don't care for many spin and spews, so I didn't pay much attention. I don't believe in the "every Six Flags has poor service, is dirty, and...(whatever)" just because the one or two you've visited are. I believe many will tell you that SFGAm, SFStL, SFoG, and even SFOT are very nice Six Flags parks and very quality. The only one I've been to of the above is SFGAm and I can assure you that one was a well-rounded park. Great coaster selection, nice theming, good service, tasty food,... It seems that a few of the duds around other major areas have really brought the chain down as a whole. Especially, the newer ones(SFA, SFWoA, SFDL, SFNE). Give it time(I sure hope I won't regret this) and it should become a better park as it progresses(hopefully).

Danny, who makes every post IHO and is the happiest guy on Earth to have not one, not two, but three terrific parks a day trip away :)
