As much as defunct parks facsinate me, it's always sad to see one go into despair, especially with so much of it still intact.
It's a very well-done video, though! The quality is amazing! I especially liked the little things including the rollerskate and arcade tickets. I agree, it did get the point across.

Yeah, those dollies have become too (relatively) affordable, and they're quickly being over-used. For something like this, where the stillness and desolation is kind of the point, it's a little annoying.

I agree completely. I did like some of the shots with the dolly, but I found many of the still shots just as effective. I just got annoyed for a moment when every single new frame was utilizing the dolly.
On a side note, I wish some the steady-cam systems were not so pricey... Those would make video making more enjoyable for me. When it comes down to it though, I just would rather spend $700+ on lenses when I actually get the money.
I watched this video and laughed maniacally for several moments while stroking the kitty on my lap.
Then I closed the page because I was bored.
It is a very, very good thing I wasn't drinking anything when I read the last two posts!

Man this Video bring tears to my eyes. I realize how fortunate I am for being able to visit this place while it was still open and I do miss their Roller Coaster. Their Roller Coaster was a rare breed with the fixed lap bar. It was a nice little Airtime Machine and the ride was all controlled by the levers in the station. seeing the other things there I enjoyed also made me cry. I wish we can bring this park back to life somehow.
