Sorry for the ambiguous thread title, but I'm pretty much speechless.

Seriously?

The well is dry.

If there's any silver lining, it's that if they're still begging, they're not completely out of business yet...

To be fair, it is a new idea.

And equally devoid of any long term plan.

I know dogs who beg less than CLP.

Seriously, they need to get their act together. Maybe simple things like updating the website with 2011 information before MAY when the season starts. How about giving someone a list of rides including a better homepage advertisement for the Blue Streak? Both of these ideas can attract customers, and they are more cost-effective in comparision to a billboard/commercial ad. Was it such a good idea to let go the Lisko's just yet?

^ I agree the website is atrocious (both design and timeliness). When I heard there was another Pepsi Refresh campaign the other day, I went to their site and saw the "hours and price list" page was still the generic, off-season message... but all the banners pointing to the Refresh project had been updated to the new one. I see today it at least says they're opening Memorial Day weekend, but there's no mention of hours... even though they're posted on their facebook page. Yeesh.

BTW, when the thread title was "Again!?" and Gonch said "the well is dry," I knew exactly what he was linking to. :)

I think for fun we should just keep voting them in. How much money can Pepsi hand over and nothing still happen? It'd be fascinating to watch in a train wreck sort of way.

Wow. I'm gone from the internet for a solid day, and look what I miss.

You have to be kidding me. Call me un-American, un-enthusiast, un-fun, freedom-hating, grumpy-ass and cynical, but WTF?

It was great to let Lisko go. No one forces anyone to put down there video games and take a road trip.

Why, it says right on their web site, under About The Park: Future (right next to the box that says they will open Memorial Day weekend), that "The Board’s vision for...the Park is to continue to grow the Profit Centers in a manner which will perpetuate the Trust." How much more of a plan do they need? :-)

I visited Conneaut Lake last year. I was whelmed.
