Seems like a perfectly good name to me (and already used at Morey's for their AWESOME drop tower).

Vancouver is possibly the best vacation spot on earth. Don't go to vancouver TO go to playland... Go to Vancouver and go to playland. If that makes sense ;)

What I meant was go Vancouver, and go to playland. But don`t make it the reason you come to vancouver, there are soooo many things to do. But don`t eat the mushrooms. ;)

Is getting a passport in the US that big of a deal?

Doesn't it take like over a hundred dollars and three months?

Not to mention the federal shut down that is pretty much a sure thing, as Obama has said (well, the "White House" has said) he will veto any extension Congress passes. But that is another issue entirely.

The short answer is: If you don't already have a passport, if you want the full book, it could well be over a year (the sign in my local PO says to give it a year). If you just want the card, I would guess 4+ months right now.

If the government shuts down for a weekend, it's not going to take a year to get a passport. The State Department was doing a pretty good job at turning around passports quickly.

Yet another example of US slacking. just kidding. I believe if you mail in the form it takes a while. But you can go to a government office and drop it off. Then it goes really fast.

Why should it cost that much money for you Government to allow you to leave the country for a short time, for business or pleasure. That's still ridiculous, in my opinion.

One to two weeks is a reasonable amount of time to wait for a passport though, in my opinion.

^^^^It cost me $145 ($110 for passport, $25 for processing at post office, and $10 for the pictures I got at Walgreens). They said it usually takes about 3 weeks and I will have the passport in the mail.

I'm gonna be going to Vancouver this year. Yep, just to ride coasters :)

Wow, they need to change the signage at the POs then (at least, the ones around me all say 1 year for the book). If I would have known they had been turning them out that fast, I might have been more apt to go ahead and get one.
