Four roller coasters, a pirate ski show, a factory that shows how Legos are made, and a school for young boating enthusiasts. From the looks of a new map released Wednesday, the 52-acre, $100 million Legoland theme park has it all. But there is still a long way to go before the park opens in October.

Looks like the strategy of redeveloping an existing park is a good strategy. The park will have offerings on opening day that California took several years to achieve. I think California could use a nice observation tower too. Just beyond the ridge are the flower fields and Pacific.
Edit: It looks like they are keeping the waterski show. Nice nod to the past.
So was Starliner "disassembled" to possibly run again at another location or has it been "torn down" and sent to the big wood pile in the sky?
Pics on RCDB are kid of inconclusive. Two of them show it down, but the wood is not splintered, looking more like it was taken apart rather than knocked down... but the way it is laying there in piles makes it looks like nothing much was done to make shipping or reassembly very easy.
Based on the new park map, it doesn't look like the original gardens have been reduced. What is gone seems to be the Topiary Gardens.
The article mentions Legoland keeping 2 of the coasters but in fact they are keeping 3.
1. Swamp Thing
2. Triple Hurricane
3. Okeechobee Rampage.
My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.
