It's called a transporter, and sometimes Commander Scott has it down for maintenance. Duh. ;)

Oh, well, I was referencing Tommy Boy but I guess that works, too. :)

Hope that transporter isn't made by Intamin. ;)

I've only been down that road once, when I was a little kid. Can you (easily) get to the Soak City lot from that entrance?

Yep, I always park in the Soak City or Gemini lot, even when coming in CP Road. If they try to direct you into the main parking lot, just sort of point ahead to the perimeter road and they should know what you mean. If not, just roll down your window and ask.

Thinking about the road and times I've been on it... I wonder how many times Dick Kinzel's house has been TP'd. Maybe that's an adventure planned for BooBuzz? ;-)

Uh, no.

Raven: I completely missed the Tommy Boy reference. In my defense, I did eat a lot of paint chips as a child...

DK's house isn't technically on the chausse (Cedar Point road), it sits on the road adjacent to the parking lot all the way to the end, so if you were to try and TP it, there would only be one escape route.

I suppose you could make a swim for Canada.

The Chausee is a pretty cool (and unique) part of Ohio...let alone of Sandusky. I'm fairly certain the Boeckling's had a residence not too far from the parking lot at one time as well.

I haven't been on that beach in more than a dozen years but at one time you could walk basically from the Breakers beach all the way up and past Kinzel's house if you wanted. I wouldn't recommend stopping to take a dip in the pool but I'm pretty sure the beach itself is considered "public access".

I do own a boat. ;-) Anyways, I don't think I'll waste my good charmin on him. He's only worthy of Gas station quality sand paper.
