Video from Holiday World shows the Gravitykraft train in action with actual humans. Mike Graham and William Koch take the first ride.
Wow! The Timberliners have a truly transformative effect on the people who ride in them! :)
I'm extremely happy to see this. Many congratulations to Gravitykraft on this milestone...just in time for the Big Show!

"First human riders on Voyage in Timberliner train"... this has raised a question in my mind. Isn't this the first human ride in a Timberliner on any coaster?
Testing on Raven was non-human. I don't think that test train even had proper seats. And I've never heard of Timberliners tested or installed any any other coasters.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Looks like I will be making my first non-event trip to the park next year.

Well an event or 2 will be attended as well. I'm just not sure I can wait that long. :-)

FYI... the Fall Affair will return again next year, making it I think the sixth year. No date yet, but we obviously have a lot of time until then to figure it all out.

Seeing as how Holiwood Nights conflicts with CoasterMania again, I will definitely be doing Fall Affair.

I dont think this is going to make the ride feel more "conrolled" like some people are worried about. The steering is probably going to smooth out the lateral forces on this ride (which personally I think is probably a good thing) but I dont see any reason why the new trains will affect the crazy airtime pops that ride has, at least I hope not. Those pops (and the floater air on the out portion) is the reason that ride is tied for my #1.
Either way though, the ride was much rougher this year then the last, obviously something needed to be done before that ride got "Villianed."
The intensity of the ride is most dictated by the speed and quick direction changes, as far as I'm concerned. It's not like those are going away, and if the trains actually perform better, those elements will be taken even faster.
