SFGAd sure can have night and day crowds. I have been there 4 times, 2001, 2002, 2004 and 2006. On my first visit, a weekday in June 2001, I thought the place was a pit for scumbags. Lots of people smoking and cutting in line and our group got threatened by one of them. This sure was not a good first impression. However, the next time back most everyone was great and it seemed like a completely different park. Same goes for the 2004 & 2006 visits.
I know at SFGAm in particular, never visit on a Saturday. Not only is that (obviously) the most crowded day of the week, but it seems to be the day that the most riff raff is in the park.
I was trying to talk Matt into GAdv Friday pre-PPP (during the NYC trip)....sounds like a party. :)
Gee, maybe we should move this discussion to the forum approved for such discussion... oh, wait, that forum is no more...nevermind.
Friday, Toro, be there or be sans air. ;~P
You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)
Friday is a better choice than Monday. That is the first Friday night Fright Fest this year and typically that is one of the emptiest days of October, last year there were 3500 people in the park on the first Friday night. Columbus Day can have massive crowds since this year it is also a fall physics day which will bring a lot of school trips.
