At SFGAm, I was really sad to see Sky Whirl leave. Despite the fact that it may not have been on the cutting edge of technology or a thrill ride, it was just... there. Somthing that I always did, and at night, was amazing. You could go up, see the whole park all lit up and it was a GREAT view without being too boring (Sky Trek Tower) or too thrilling (Giant Drop). I guess the reason I became so attached to it is simply because it was something I did every time I went to the park, and to me, was a part of the park, like Columbia Carousel. You just don't think rides like that leave, and when you find out they are, it's too late to ride them again. I would have greatly appreciated if SFGAm did the same thing PGA did:

As for Rolling Thunder & Tidal Wave... Kind of odd actually. I've been going to the park since I was a baby, and I never remember seeing either of the 2! Ever! I really regret that I did not ride them...
