Beijing’s famous Water Cube, or National Aquatics Center, the place where two dozen world records were set during the 2008 Summer Olympics (and where swimming sensation Michael Phelps landed eight gold medals) has been converted into a water park -- or at least half of it has.

Wahoo, I can't remember exactly if it was this, but I know the Chinese Government wanted to do something with the watercube, and it was announced just after the olympics what it was going to be for. Not sure why only half is used, and what the other half will be.
Now I wonder what they're doing with the first (unbirds nest) stadium they built for the Olympics that they didn't use...
