Wow. That doesn't sound like the kind of safety culture that is burned into a CF ride op's head at all. Did you tell someone, Dave?
I don't understand why the park would need any kind of transport ride to get people from one side of the park to the other. Carowinds seems really small.

^LostKause, Carowinds actually had a cable skyway at one time, and the park was much smaller than it is now.

I would love to see a return of the cable skyway to Carowinds. From what I understand, Carowinds got rid of theirs the same reason many parks did in the 80's. Evacuation problems in case of power failure.
Obviously, this decision was based on state laws regarding such situations, or individual park management at that time.
Carowinds is already "Teasing" us about the announcement later this month:
