Magnum XL-200 reall a hyper?

OK, I heard that magnum XL-200 only has a 190 something foot long drop. Is this true? Because if it is, it shouldn't be a hyper. It should only be a hyper if the DROP is 200+ feet long.

The drop is 194'. Thats all I'm saying b/c this topic is gonna turn sour real fast.

Who cares if the drop is 194 instead of 200. The ride still stinks. ;)

a hypercoaster only has to have a 200-foot lift hill and the magnum does so technically it is a hypercoaster

Magnum's lift is 205 feet tall. A hyper-coaster is any coaster that has a lift or drop of 200 feet or more.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Magnum is 200+ ft above ground level at it's highest point... but this might bring up another question, how tall off the ground is Phantom's Revenge at it's highest point? I don't think it's 200 ft, but it has a drop that is 200+ ft.

So, is a hypercoaster any coaster either 200+ft high, and/or 200+ ft drop?

Im not going to start an argument with you, but what do u mean Magnum stinks. I think i speak for alot of people when I say that you are very very WRONG!!

So if it does stink soooo much Then Whis is it a number one coaster?

Now about ot not being a hypercoaster~I think that You people can call it whatever you want. All that matters to me is what I think. I think that it is a hypercoaster. I also think that it is one of the greaest rides in the world!

*yawn* why does every topic have to turn into a debate on how good a ride is or not? Its a matter of aesthetics. If you like a ride, you are not going to change somebody's mind that doesn't like it.
