Cornball Express...AWESOME!

I just hit Indiana Beach yesterday for the first time and was fairly impressed by the little park. The coasters were great, except one, Cornball Express, it was AWESOME!

This is another example at how CCI packs alot of thrill into a little spot. This ride is pretty intense for it's small footprint and size. There is so much airtime in the back it's crazy. I also rode the front, which is good, but not nearly as intense as the back. My only complaint about this ride is that it only runs one train, and the ride ops were kind of slow. If you slap another train onto this great ride and have it loading while the other one is on the course you'll have pretty good capacity too. The only thing they would have to do is put on a transfor track, possibly at the brake run, that's the only place for it with enough room.

If you haven't already, head out to Indiana Beach and ride this thing, it is my favorite woodie, even more so than SOB and Thunderbolt (Kennywood).

Thanks for the report! I'll be riding it in about 2 weeks and I'm excited. CCI just continues to do wonderful work.

Too much is simply NOT ENOUGH...
I saw a POV video awhile back, forgot the site, but the ride, though short, looks awesome. I hope to ride it soon.

Let the bears pay the Bear Tax, I pay the Homer Tax.
Doubt if there would be another train added to CornBall, Incline. You're talking about another half million added. (If I remember right, Hurricane train's cost 'bout 180,000 each.) Add to that a transfer track, motors and such, and labor...

An interesting tidbit here: CCI does predesign their coasters where another train could be added if desired by the park. If I remember correctly, even the Raven could have another train added. Also I talked with Denise Dinn-Larrick on CornBall media day and she said Shivering Timbers is set up so a third train could be added if the park wanted to do so.

That's awesome! That's why Raven and Legend have the straight away after the Station(s) and not the little dip right away -> room for a future transfer track. And the flat on the turn around on Shivering Timbers, for a block brake. Too bad the American Eagle has 2 block brakes, but only 2 trains... (anymore anyway).

Ow! My lap bar IS down all the way.
