Hersheypark does one better than an evening discount ticket. They let you use your next day ticket to enter the park after a certain hour for free. They consider it a Preview pass.
But they also have a Sunset pass at a discounted price if you want to come a little earlier than the preview hour, but still not spend the entire day.

Dorney still offers it, 3:00 or 3:30 entry on an 8:00 closing and 5:00 entry on a 10:00 closing.
I remember the twickets. In the mid and late 90s, my family used to use Coke cans for B1G1 free admission to Great Adventure which was probably a little over $20 a person to get in after the B1G1 free and then buy a twicket for later in the season for around $9 or $10 so 2 trips to the park were around $30 a person. If they still offer them, they aren't advertised anywhere in the park.
Knoebels offers a Sundown Plan beginning at 5:00 that includes coaster and non-coaster options. They also have Bargain Nights, most every Wednesday and Friday between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Between 6 and 10PM, costs $9.00, $7.00 if you're under 48" tall. It doesn't include any of the coasters, Mansion, Skloosh, or Skyride, but $9.00 for basically every flat ride in the park isn't a bad deal.
When I went to Dollywood last month, we took advantage of their free next day offer, which was valid if you buy your one-day ticket after 3pm. One-and-a-half days for the price of one. ...lol
At $55, with no discounts in sight, it made the higher-than-usual admission price seem worth it.
