Kennywood has the longest flat cycles of any park Ive been to.
Someone never visited the old Coney Island. :)
They had a Break Dance, with a "warm up" cycle that was longer than anything I've ever seen, followed by a 10 minute cycle at 11.
What an experience. One that I'm not sure my stomach could handle these days.
The Problem with Leap the Dips is half the time they won't run it unless you have 3 people. This year it's not included in the all you can ride also (2.50 per Ride) I would stick with KW.. period. The other 3 parks can be done on another trip in one weekend and you can catch a Ball game.
No I don't have a kid, but I still want to ride!
I got an email today regarding why they are now charging for leap the dips.
Please be aware that it was with much regret that we were left with no choice but to make the Leap The Dips an "extra pay attraction.
For the past number of years, the Leap The Dips has incurred start up costs that are twenty (20) times greater than the Skyliner roller coaster. The Leap The Dips simply was not built or designed to take the volume of riders that it attracts, especially on our promotional days.We were left with no choice but to attempt to limit the number of riders and or to charge a fee to ride the coaster. If we would not take this step, it would be very likely that the Leap The Dips would not be available for anyone to ride in the very near future. In an attempt to offset the disappointment of this ride now being an extra pay attraction, each rider will receive a VERY NICE keepsake ticket.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Lakemont charged to ride LTD many years after it opened, if I recal correctly. Seriously, is a couple of bucks going to stop you from taking a ride on the oldest coaster in the world?

Are you new here? ;)
I can see people going with the intent of riding LTD and not buying an all day pass. In that case the park will be losing money.
We were there for 2 hours last year bought the all day wristband, rode all the flats, Skyliner a half dozen times and LTD once before heading to Knoebels.
The way it is now, I would have gone in and rode LTD and bought tickets for the other 2 and left with out spending as much $$$. I also would not have batted an eye at paying an extra $2.50 for the wristband.
Before you can be older and wiser you first have to be young and stupid.
