Problems with friends bailing on you

Ok. I havent been to PKI in over a month. I am coaster and adreline depraved. I would be up there if I could drive, but my friend who has been promising to go up with me keeps bailing. Any advice?

I would take a bus, but the only problem is that the bus route is right through Over the Rhine, and for anyone who hasnt been reading the news about the riots, that is where they all started. Crime rate there is high for black on white crime. And it doesnt help that im a 16 year old (temps only) white guy.

Over-the-Rhine isn't that bad, PKIFreak. I was downtown and at the Museum Center about 3 weeks after the riots and it was more peaceful than Covington. I live in Hamilton and I've seen it get a lot worse. If you're really worried about it and need a coaster fix, go to Coney Island. I know there's not a lot there, but hey, it's a coaster.

Don't go alone....sorry if I affend anyone when I say this, but unless you literally live across the street from a park, its very pathetic to go alone.

Pathetic? What's pathetic about going to a park alone? I know people who do it all the time.

There's nothing wrong about goin alone it's just I prefer to go with a friend because it's more fun.

I love going to a park alone. When I take my friends to parks, especially my road trip with my roommate to SFMW, I am forced to do many non-coaster attractions I would prefer not to do. I do love going with people, and I always have a good time, but I still prefer being alone sometimes.
