For the first time in more than a decade, New Jersey's summer season was free of serious injuries on roller coasters, Ferris wheels and log flumes, state officials said this week.

I develop Superior Solitaire when not riding coasters.
If anything, it demonstrates why the feds don't need to be involved in regulating these rides. Individual states can and should acquire the expertise to inspect rides themselves, to an extent that makes sense in that state. I mean, Ohio needs more than, say, Montana, and the complexity of rides will be far greater in Ohio.
