Intamin Hypers or B&M Speed?

I'd side with B&M for now(Nitro pushed me to their side), but I dont see how much better Intamin is. I'm just happy that B&M isn't monopolizing the business with all coasters.

I'd have to say intamin all the way. So fast and sleek. The B&M tag team is best when concerning suspended loopers, Alpengeist any one?

Thanks for the kind words, Danny. However, I can't take credit for the site. My brother takes 90% of the pics and does 90% of the work. (He takes advantage of my frequent travel to get pics for his site. He's probably going to buy a case of film for me to take to Japan!)

Well, they both make good hypers, but they offer different types of rides. Intamin gives intensity, while B&M gives comfort. Intamin gives ejector air, while B&M gives floater air. I probably prefer B&M over Intamin myself. It might just be a matter of taste. B&M definitely have the more comfortable trains, though.

I think choosing between Intamin Hypers and B&M Speed is like choosing between a Ferrari and a Porsche. You don't know which one to choose because they are both good.

Definitely B&M for me.

They are smooth, more rerideable, etc.

And what! The brake run ruined Nitro? Naw.

AC's brake run.. when you exit it, it gives you a nice, healthy dose of flojector air!

Intamins, as far as I can see, provide too much flat parts. Sure SROS:SFNE and EGF look cool, but I still would take B&M over anything. Maybe except EGF and MF. But I haven't ridden either! However, I plan to ride MF this summer AND ride EGF next summer!

B&M, Raging Bull is the best coaster i've ever ridden.

I think Intamin is just as smooth and comfortable as B&M...

If I was the last person on Earth, would I get to design this coaster? :) Anyway, I would say B&M but I would be MORE than happy either way. I for one can't wait for that Knotts Intamin Giga. :)

I can stretch my legs on B&M's. Here's a question, which one would you prefer to be stuck in for a while?

well i would prefer b&M hypers over intamin ones and this is because you have lots of air time on B&M hypers and on every hyper the seating is somehow different
