Many parks don't have a hyper coaster, and they survive :)
I really hope that Whalom doesn't go the way of so many traditional parks. It looked like a really cool park with a decent woodie. Unfortunately, it doesn't look too good for this park... like Agent Johnson said, unless someone with lots of money comes along and can deal with losing it for a few years until the park gets back on its feet (and even then, there are no guarantees), the park will probably join Paragon Park, Lincoln Park, and Mountain Park in the history of lost Massachusetts amusement parks.
