Chef Robert Irvine, buff and brusque host of the Food Network's hit "Dinner: Impossible," set out to prove that maxim wrong when he recently whipped up a gourmet dinner for 250 roller coaster mavens (presumably after and not before they partook of loop-de-loops and stomach-dropping drop-offs) in only nine hours -- using mostly ingredients available at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee.

He did. It was pretty hectic, but the outcome was good. I only had one line on the show, since I walked off camera on another potential spot.
This should be great to watch. Amusement Park equipment is much different than commercial kitchens in some aspects, so there are challenges for chefs.
I didn't know they were still filming this show. I thought Irvine had been canned by the network (pun intended) after the flap about him padding his credentials. I saw part of the show, namely Bob trying to make cotton candy with herbs and basically ending up with burnt straw. I assumed it was an older show that was just being rerun.
The episode was very interesting to watch.
Michael Symon just didn't bring the same atmosphere as Irvine. Symon is good at Iron Chef, not Dinner: Impossible.
Anyways, I thought he did great. Some of the food was questionable, as far as perceived taste goes. It all got good reviews so I suppose it went well. Perhaps I have a close-minded pallet.

I remember last season they had Guy Fieri doing one or two. We also thought they got rid of Irvine.
Might have to watch this one/
Watch out for flying maps!
Yep....did that.
Other than the show scheduale for yesterday, there is no info on when it will be shown again.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
