Question about Impulse coasters

Aren't their LIMs powerful enough to launch them to the top of the spiral spike from a standstill? I watched the Badnitrus animatitions & it shows SUE going up halfway & working its speed up.

LIM coasters have metal fins on the train(s) & electromagnets on the track i.e. all launched coasters with the exception of the two LSM Reverse Freefalls. They have permanent magnets under the cars instead of the fins which makes them way more powerful & efficient (80% vs 13%?).

Are there any other LSM coasters other than STE & ToT?

If it was powerful enough, I would think that it would do it. Since it doesn't, I'm going to assume it needs to go on the second pass. You almost have to see it in person to appreciate just how short that track is. It's a relatively compact ride.

If I remember correctly, Superman at Six Flags Holland and Rock 'n Roller Coaster are both LSM coasters.
