Congratulations Jeff and Diana on the future little thingy!!

As I watch Intimidator 305 being announced, all I can think of is the song "Bust-a-move": "There's one more ride you won't be getting." How long does it take kids to grow to 48"? ;)

The ride opens a few months after our baby arrives. I'll get on it one way or another. :)

Well, I'd have to figure out a way to convince my wife to invest the time and money to get there just to spend a day doing child swap on something she'd probably be happy riding once or twice and going home. Maybe it's time to shine the "grandparents signal."

Wow...Katie's almost 7 and she still isn't 48" tall.

Yeah all kids are different. Jacob is 3.5 years old now and has cracked the 42" mark. It's crazy to think that he was barely 40" at the beginning of this season and barely stood 36" at the beginning of the '08 season.

Jeff and Diana, congratulations! Sure its fun to take the kids out to amusement parks and ride the rides, but I can attest that there is no other ride out there that is as emotional, intense, grueling, exciting, and incredible as raising a kid. The two of you will have a lot of great memories with your future little one! Have a blast!

Well, you better trade in that sports car for a minivan. Better yet, make it one of the safest cars out there: a VOLVO!!! Better make it the turbo, however.

Sports car? How long have you been here? I'm a treehugger when it comes to cars, and there will be no minivan.

Fine TREEHUGGER!!!!! Get a Subaru Forrester, but at LEAST get the biggest honkin' turbo you can find.

I don't need to over-compensate on your behalf.

I've got a little '94 Ranger with a 4-cyl and 5-spped stick. Still gets about 24 mpg.

You're a model of conservation.

I expect a fully detailed trip report about the journey to and from the hospital. (With photos!)

It can be amazing to view this hobby through your child's eyes.

My daughter is expecting my first grandchild with a due date of January 2nd. It is going to be a boy!
