Anyone know what coaster this is from?

We were at six flags near Jersey, and while doing the drive thru animal safari we noticed this....

Didn't GAdv have an interlocking arrow shuttle looper called Lightning Loops about a hundred years ago?

My first guess was one of the Lightning Loops but I don't think that's it, ties are too close together for that.

I always assumed it was an extra piece of Scream Machine. This is all speculation but possibly something was wrong or it was damaged during shipment. I remember it showing up in the safari after Scream Machine showed up.

According to wikipedia, it is from the GASM. It says that after the inaugural season the top half of each loop was removed and replaced with a piece that was reinforced. At first I took this with a grain of salt but I checked photos and indeed this is true. You can see the extra bracing here- http://www.rcdb.com/34.htm?p=1025.

I was in the group that always thought this loop piece was from Lightning Loops but after checking that as well the tie pattern is very different.

I'm sheriff of this here rollercoaster.

Lightning Loops were relocated. One to Siax Flags America- known as Wild World then and I think the other went to Frontier City in Ok.

Its from the GASM.

More accurately, it's from GASM-II. GASM is at SFOG. If you're going to speak in abbreviations, use the generally accepted ones. :)
