Just wanted to see everyone's thoughts about the best ending on a roller coaster. My personal award would have to go to The Beast at PKI for wooden and Magnum for steel.

MF.
Speeding towards that 68 ft. high last turn is cool, and then looking down at the queue shows just how really high you are.

I have to say S:ROS at SFA. Why? because the last bunny hop is about fifty feet from the station. I mean you can literally see the people on the train in front of you boarding the other train before you even complete the hop. That is a great ending. Also the last helix through the mist on Iron Dragon (CP) is really cool. In fact, that's about the only reason to even ride the thing....

I would say MF also. The ending is one of my favorite parts, because you really realize how fast you're going when you rocket past all the people down below, and because it's the perfect ending.

I gotta go with the Beast. What can beat the angled drop into a tunnel for the first half of a helix to come out of the tunnel to renter another
tunnel. The sheer power of the train wanting to rip from the track lets you know the Beast has the best ending.

Outer Limits: Flight Of Fear. That corkscrew into the bunny hop and into the brakes. That is cool. The Beast would have to be second on my list of best endings with that helix with the tunnels. That is awesome.

Im sorry but MF has nothing on endings when it faces Goliath. One thing that MF really is missing is a high speed, high banked helix. Goliath is saved by this, the ride being so short. If Goliath didnt have this element at the end, I would have to say it would be quite a letdown.

I haven't even been on it, but the Beast. If not, probably Raptor or Big Bad Wolf. The last heix on the Raptor is so insane. Then again, BBW's drop right over that beutiful body of water, then swopping up, that is pretty sweet.

PGA's Top gun still has the most kick --- helix of a ending I have experienced.

You beat me to it Riverbeast, I was gonna say PGA's Top Gun also! That high elevated flat spin, the exit of which plunges all the way down to the lake, directly into that mind numbing g force packed helix, it just rocks! Gets me everytime!

Yeah I love the ending helix on Raptor too. (especially if you hold your legs straight out in front of you)

No endings on a coaster are good. They all end with you having to get out. I do like the end on Ninja at SFMM. You get to have one more ride up a nice chain lift. Woo Hoo!
See Ya all in July Im off to Marine World and Magic Mountain. Ill be sure to get some "good" pictures.

I like the Legend's ending. You're not even sure the train is going to slow down for the station! That ride doesn't let up until the last possible second. The Beast gives you waaaay too much time on the track to consider what you've just been through.
