The Roller coaster that ended your coaster phobia.
Let's face it, all, or at least most of us here at Coasterbuzz at one time, had a phobia of going on rollercoasters. I remember after riding the Racer and Jackrabbit at Kennywood, I was too scared to go on any other rollercoaster except the little kiddie ones. Then, one day, when I went to King's Island about 2 or 3 years later, me and my aunt walked right by the Vortex, which a year earlier I'd sworn I 'd never go on, and at a split second decision, just hopped right on, just like that! I ended up loving it and ever since, I've gone on every rollercoaster I possibly could. What coaster broke your fear?

I loved coasters but was afraid of INVERTS. i thought it was going to fall off the track. But My mom got me on it and I rode. Having so much fun. But when we went to the park again, i woulnt ride. But I went over that fear, Rode again. And havent been scared of an invert yet. Or coaster :)

Batman: The Ride at Six Flags Great Adventure.
I was dragged on the ride by a friend after wimping out on Medusa two years ago. First ride...front row... I was consoled by a couple with more tattoos and piercings than should be humanly legal. After that first hill, no pun intended, it was all downhill from there. After three more consecutive rides that day, I was hooked. And now I'm a CoasterBuzzer and an ACE-er.

Davie the Luv Monkey, my mom, whose biggest coaster she'd ridden in the last twenty years had been the Thunderbolt, had a similar experience on the Steel Phantom. After finally getting her in line, she was starting to get scared when this woman who must have had a billion piercings in line in front of us calmed her down. But then, when she told about having to take your earrings off before you got on the ride, my mom freaked! Fortunately, she still got on, and afterwards she loved it, but she swore she would never ride it again!

On my first visit to Cedar Point I remember being to little to ride the coasters. I was devastated. I stood in front of the Corkscrew with my dad telling me, "well maybe next year son." Right now there is another poor child standing in from of the millineum force feeling the same thing. Can you even imagine the millineum force being your first coaster? Anyway, I was always jumping of of roofs, ramping my bike, and doing other fun things as a child, but I suppose any hesitations disappeared after the Galaxi at Indiana Beach.
