I don't know. It seems cool and all and I'm all for record breaking rides or a new design. But I would like to see a water ride that is long and more like an adventure through a jungle theme or something. Maybe several drops and near misses. The Jurassic river ride at Universal tries to do this but I honestly found it somewhat boring besides for the drop and T-Rex portion. Maybe a Journey to the Center of the Earth theme. Maybe it's already been done but big drop raft rides just seem pretty boring to me. If I want a huge drop, I go on a roller coaster.
I watched the test vid when they pulled it up by crane. There was much more water, A huge splash and the boat almost completely stopped. Trust me, I rode mile high falls at SFKK leaned back and hit that water and wham. It knocked the breath out of me and hurt like hell. IM sure the waterlevel will be kept at a acceptable level to create as much splash as possible while still not hurting anyone. There was much less in water in the povs and other vides I seen of riders than that first test. It also seemed to take quite some time for the boat to get out of the splash area and back into the stream. Oh well. I hope its great for HW. I'll ride it, like it but Id skip it for the eagles flight :)
I wish Holiday World all the best with this new ride but I think they are going to experience what other parks have dealt with when it comes to Intamins (especially proto-type Intamins) and that is dealing with mass amounts of downtime.
My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.
This isn't exactly a proto-type though- the lift mechanism is very similar to their vertical lift coasters ala Fahrenheit at Hersheypark. And why are so many people complaining about the size of the splash? I could care less how big it is, it still looks like fun.
