Is Viper At SFGAdv worth staying up?

I think it is if the restrainet system was changed to just a one peice harnest and not the 2 peaice toture devices it would be a decent ride .i would rather have Viper up any day then have them fill it in with a flat ride! plus viper buts in a good drop but they need to just bank the turns more such as the turn on top right after the lift and the fix the last turn and just make it a big banked turn going into the brakes instead of a almost flat turn that gos u and down then into the brakes! becuase i have seen viper get its share of lines last time i saw one over 30mins was in late 99 season and 00 season every ride was empty becuase i think there attendence prop went down. but if they wanna take down viper for a better coaster then go ahead but i think that section is cursed becuase so far 2 bad coasters there ultra twister and viper whats next a painfull stand up? time will tell...

It also BADLY NEEDS a paint job.

I've actually heard that Ultra Twister is a cool little ride. One of the star attractions at SFAW. Anyway, I think it's worth staying up because I've not got a chance to ride it yet. How long has this thing been closed and is there signs of a reopening?

Everything above was my opinion. If you disagree, please respond in an intelligent fashion. But before you post,I warn you that some people say I'm just too smart to understand. Please take that into consideration.
yeah, if they bank a few turns and change the restraints, it should be ok. the worst part is that final turn, what were they thinking? its a one-of-a-kind ride, ide hate to see it torn down.
Out of many visits to SFGAd in the last 2 years I have only seen Viper run once, and that was during the Coaster Celebration. On behind the scenes tour they explained many of the maintenance troubles it has. MAN, that ride just sounds like it's awful to keep operable.

I wish they could get trains for it that make solid contact with the track (ala B&M and Intamin) and had a better restraint system.

It was weird, I had never seen ERT when 1500 coaster freaks were present, and only 3 or 4 people riding that coasster!

I never want to see a coaster be removed, but I didn't cry when Windjammer was closed, and I won't cry when this one goes to coaster heaven. (Whenever that might be)
