...in a few minutes, actually. :)
Shortly after 1 pm CDT today, the first boat will be lifted up the drop (about 1/3 of the way up) by crane for the first test.
Testing will continue this afternoon and tomorrow morning.
Our Pilgrims Plunge construction cam will provide a live view.

Any chance of getting a video of the first run Paula :)?
Hope it went well, I can't wait to check it out.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
I think we'll go with the latest test for the video ... we loaded the boat with corn and dragged it to the top of the drop.
A very respectable splash, if I do say so myself. :)
I'll come back and post the link when it's up.
Thanks, Paula

Video of testing is on the HoliBlog.
More testing on Tuesday, with different water depths. Supposed to be 10 degrees warmer tomorrow. No one's complaining...:)
Thanks, Paula

Yes. Unfortunately, our plans to add the HoliWatch program for the 2009 season have fallen through. It seems the challenging economy has made it impossible for our supplier to deliver the software and hardware needed to make the project happen. We hope to find another supplier to work with to make the HoliWatch a reality in the 2010 season.
Thanks, Paula
