Knoebels buys Golden Nugget from Morey's

Fans of Wildwood's famed Golden Nugget Mine Ride won't have to travel too far to see the ride's colorful mine cars in action once again. The cars and tracks have found their way to the family-owned and -operated Knoebels Amusement Resort in Elysburg, Pa.

Knoebels has practically made a business out of the concept of preservation. I'm not sure that would work everywhere but it sure works well in Elysburg. I can't wait to see what they end up doing with the ride, as it will be nice to say hello to an old friend, even if he ends up getting an extreme makeover.
