Man enters low zone, struck by Ninja at Six Flags Magic Mountain

I agree...scaling a fence with the word "danger" on it is rather stupid. I have to liken this to the people that get hit every year by a train while walking on the tracks. I just don't get it.

Long time reader, first time poster. I saw this story and had to say this:

If you climb two fences to grab a hat that you were too stupid to lose in the first place on a coaster, you deserve to be hit by one.

Boy, what are people in this world coming to? I swear you can get stupidity in a bottle these days.

On Monday I was at Darien Lake. I was in the second to last row on Predator going down the first drop (which has a delicious jolt of airtime) and I heard a guy behind me yell out that he lost his $30 hat. He kept complaining about it throughout the whole ride. I instantly thought of the Ninja incident and how people use poor judgement when they're at amusement parks.

I think the problem is that hats cost $30 these days. ;)

Gonch, what kind of hat was this that cost that much? Does it have flashing lights and buzzers or something? Dang! LOL

WOW...I suppose I will NOT be buying merchandise to support my local teams any time soon. I really was thinking about picking up a Phillies hat or something, but now, not so much. LOL

That's either one very small leg or Gonch has a very big head. Literally speaking, of course...we all know he's got a big head, figuratively... ;)

FYI, just an update for anyone that's interested on the guy's condition, he died from blunt force trauama at 2 AM the following day.
