Sign at CP

Check out the sign near DT when u go to CP next time. it says
"Thrust into 2002 with massive air"

This has already started to be discussed in another thread. I think someone should get a picture of it fast so we can quit debating if it's there or not.

all i know is it was there memorial day weekend when i went out to cp. i would go back but the 6 hour drive is a killer. it was not a big sign just aboutu 4X2 something to that extent hey i dont know what it was for. im just reporting what i saw. i hope someone that is from around there can go get a picture of it to put up

I wish I could believe you, but without a picture I just can't. Besides, that's not CPs style.

I think a TA2k would be a sensational addition to Cedar Point. Hopefully about 250ft tall, shooting out 95-100 mph. I could only hope that a park here in Cali would follow suit. I also hope S&S could work out most of the bugs for the CP version.

250 feet? IF, and that's an IF, CP would get one they would most likely go bigger and faster than the one in Japan. (107mph, 320 ft.) That's just CPs style!
(Stan Checketts was quoted as saying he's working on one that will go "WAY" over 100mph. Where, I don't know! I can dream, though.)

That's my only real problems with CP, this tallest, fastest stuff only serves their ego and doesn't always result in a better ride. All I hear from CP fans is "bigger isn't always better", is CP exempted from that? 250ft is a perfectly awesome height for a TA2k, who cares what Japan has...

all tell ya this dweaver if cp just builds a regular out and back woodie that isnt the biggest or the fastest i just wont make the long drive to ohio to ride it. i go to cp to ride the biggest and fastest coasters it makes it great.
