Biggest Item Lost on a Ride

What has been the biggest Item you've lost on a ride?
Camera, Hat, Video Camera, Stuff Toy, Wallet, Etc.

Video Camera and 2 Cell phones @ PCW

You don't bring your cell phone on a ride. You put it in a locker. I have a Canon EOS Reble 2000, ya, "im going to bring that on a ride."

Last year they found a couple of them and a broken camera under the station of the Fly. I guess the person wanted to tape them selves on the ride. *** This post was edited by # 1 coaster fan on 5/29/2001. ***

Neither item was big in size, but I lost two very pricey ($150+) items my eyeglasses. Once on B:TR (SFGAm) in 1992 and once on S:ROS (SFA) about ten days ago. Both times I had the glasses in my pocket. On B:TR, I can understand cause they slipped out of a loose, unsealed pocket. But on S:ROS I had my jacket pocket snapped close. The airtime was just so violent that it popped the snap open. I'm not too mad though because it was time for my two year check up anyway (which I was going to put off). Guess God really wanted me to see better ;)

As an employee, the biggest thing I've ever found that someone lost was an inflatable red bulldog at CP (on Disaster Transport) -- how it survived completely inflated in the trough for who knows how long I don't know, but there it was, just waiting for us to pick up.

MY CAR KEYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Over at SFDL, on the Mind Eraser Vekoma inverted coaster, I lost my car keys on that ride I found out. It wasn't until a few hours later that I checked with Lost N Found.

There it was... my keys hanging beside others as well. I felt soo relieved... but alas, once I got them, they felt lighter... Either way, I asked who found them, and there was no name. No employee, no noone

Still, something felt 'off'... then it hit me. I was missing my metal Yin Yang key chain. Someone stole it... they yanked it off my key chain and left the keys!!! That would explain why they didn't leave a name. At least I got home... but still...

Damn coasters! They seem to eat the best stuff... keys, stuffed animals, money, spit. :)

My biggest item was a sucker on Ranger at SFDL. Hit someguy in the head and didn't wan't to claim it or he would be mad.

my shoes on the mind eraser at sfa. It's over a pit so it was hard to get back without getting caught wich is why I got caught by security gaurds! There was a beaver that bit one of the gaurds legs though.

I lost my glasses on MF, had to walk home practically blind. Of course the one day I don't wear my contacts they fall off, now I'm debt with my parents to pay for a new pair.

I lost my wife on the Racer. Later on in the ride, my train caught up to hers, though. What a relief.

The only thing I can ever remember losing is my plastic sunglasses when I was 6 on the Jr. Gemini.

CP in 2002, get to the point

This one was probably "big" to the lady who lost it: On Thursday, May 10, I was at CP, and they stopped the Raptor for about 10 minutes in the early afternoon to retrieve a lady's hair. This was the explanation given by a ride operator who was being pestered with questions about why the ride was stopped and when it would restart. Is this what really happened? Maybe someone who works there can confirm this.
