What should I do at SFA & SFGADV?

Hello, I'm going to Six flags America and Six Flags Great Adventure in about 3 weeks for a vacation. I am wondering what I should ride and when at any of these parks. Will Batwing be open by then? And can anyone tell me a COMPLETE list of rides and coasters at SFA? I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

I dont know *when* batwing will open, but it is possible it will be open then.

While @ SFA, you definitely have to hit all the coasters, Typhoon SeaCoaster, Krypton Komet (Chaos), Iron Eagle (rotoshake; if working), and Rodeo (breakdance; if working). If you have time (and trust me, you will) I suggest checking out the Wild West Stunt Show. It's a little corny, but is entertaining. Also, since I assume you have a season pass, get there @ 9:30am so that you can experience the PRIMETIME area of the day (note Sundays are S:ROS, Tuesdays are Batwing).

At GAdv you should hit Nitro, Batman & Robin: The Chiller, Batman the Ride, Scream Machine, Madusa, Rolling Thunder, & Dare Devil Dive. Also check out the water park Hurrican Harbor, it's quite good and well themed.

Can you get into the primetime thing at SFA if you have a pass from SFGAm or any other sixflags park?

At sfgadv get on viper so you can complain about it later.

Viper is 1 of my favorite rides, everyone hates it, I personally love it.

SFGAd Coasters: Nitro, Medusa, Runaway Train,
Rolling Thunder (both sides; if possible), Batman: The Chiller, Batman: The Ride, Blackbeard's Lost Treasure Train, Skull Mountain,and Great American Scream Machine.

NOTE: Robin: The Chiller and Viper will not be open.

Other stuff: Ride our often missed HUSS Frisbee, behind the Auto Bahn (bumper cars) across from Chiller, Houdini's Great Escape, Twister; our HUSS
Topspin, Log Flume, Cables for some great aerial views, the Rodeo Stampede (they run it well) and here's some classics to check out if you got time too.

Big Wheel- 150 ft tall Schwarxkopf Ferris Wheel

Spinmeister- HUSS Enterprise

Pirate's Flight, Buccaneer, Stuntman's Freefall,
Dino Island II 3-D, Jolly Roger, Raging Rapids,
Movietown Splashdown, Music Express, Time Warp,
Taz Twister, El Sombrero, and Jumpin Jack Flash
are just about the gamut of rides to be found within the park.

Plus, for an extra fee, we have Go Karts, a Chance
Turbo Force, Dare Devil Dive, Eurobungy, and
many, many games.

Food-wise, check out Wok N Roll for great Chinese,
the stand adjacent to Nitro's exit for great BBQ or
Hoagies, the Colorful stand adjacent to Raging Rapids/Looney Tunes Seaport is home to the BEST pretzels I have ever had...they're gigantic! Tasty
chicken and biscuits can be found at Granny's,
Colonial Cafe has good pizza, Great American Hamburger has good hamburgers, Great American Sausage has VERY tasty Italian sausages and Moma Flora's Cucina has good Italian food, as does Mama Flora's pizza. A Nathan's resides on the boardwalk (I have yet to try it) and the other food stands in the park (Dodge House, Rivertown Cafe,
etc) offer standard park fare. Chippy's fresh fish n chips also has a good fish n chips meal, and if Mexican is your bag, check out the food outlets across from Rolling Thunder and Dodge House.

Just a little note on the Chiller..
Although the ride op didn't say why,on Saturday a friend of mine asked about the Robin train and the ride op stated it isn't even in the park and it has been sent out for repairs,he didn't know what kind of repairs and didn't know when it will return.I am assuming it should be back soon and,i will try it as soon as i can to see what improvements they made so,anyone who is going and see that Robin is running,if you get there before i do and give it a try,let us know if you notice a differance :)

I had success at SFGAdv. by arriving at opening, grabbing 2 fastpasses for Nitro, 1 for Medusa, and 1 for Scream Machine. I headed to B&R: The Chiller first cause it has no capacity, especially with only 1 train. Then I hit BTR with little wait. I then used the 2 fastpasses on Nitro. That basically covered that half of the park, exluding the freefall ride and Skull Mt. Very few people used the fastpass on Medusa, but I would recommend waiting for the front seat. It doesn't take too long with 3 trains and 4 across. It was one of my favorite coaster moments. IMO, the Scream Machine's lines are way too long, for a crappy ride. Rolling Thunder's lines are usually pretty short.

Here's what you should do at SFA. You should spend all day sitting in the children's swim area. Don't move, don't do anything else. When they close the pool, you should leave the park.

I called guest relations at six flags america and they stated any body with a six flags season pass is eligble for prime time! Im going in a couple days with a sgam pass and they said its ok for admission!

if you want you could hit this little thing called ummmm Nitro or something. How do you get the fastpasses?
