Coney Park ambitious replacement for Astroland

Coney Island Park, slated to open in 2011, would be one component of a 13-acre, $1.5 billion plan by Thor that includes an indoor water park and residential, retail and entertainment components. The flagship ride is the "Leviathan," a 100-foot-tall looping coaster.

$250M....and a Chance Aviator is a "marquee ride". Not even the Coney Island *barkers* of old could upsell THAT much...LOL!

The thumbnail seems to suggest that the coaster will be a Maurer Söhne extended Sky Loop.

I want to know who will operate the Cyclone during construction? I agree good to see a park going back at Cony Island.

AdamB the intamin is going on stillwellave. Al ltogether including the cyclone that would make 3 coasters in the area.
