Disabled man considers legal action against Universal for taser incident

I suspect there's another side to the story, because people aren't asked to leave for no reason.

He probably aimed for the son and hit pops...

How disabled was he if he was standing in line?

He may be disabled but he was still on his feet since he was apparantly "knocked off his feet" from the blow of the taser gun. Disabled or not, I've seen disabled people do some amazing things so it is also very possible that this man did in fact pose a threat to the officer when sticking up for his son. There was also no mention of alcohol being involved but suppose this man was intoxicated?

I agree that there must be another side to this story. Personally, I'm very glad Universal hires these officers for Halloween Horror Nights. It is very much appreciated and needed.

Perhaps he had a threatening manner when he was "reasoning". I've seen parents get pretty belligerant and verbally abusive to the point where the operator had to call security because their child didn't meet the height requirement at Dorney.

Have you ever sen a parent livid cause their child was too short for the big rides? Think about that picture, and multiply by 10

If he should sue someone, it should be his son for causing the situation to begin with!

He was trying to talk his way out of his son being kicked out? SOMETHING happened there, that's for sure.

However, he should consider himself lucky. We've had a couple Taser incidents out here in Vegas where the unfortunate recipients died...
