Idora: HELP ME!!!!

Turns out my Social Studies teacher use to live a mile or two from Idora Park, and would go alot. Could you guys give me some links or info and stuff about Idora Park, so I could give him more info about why its closed and so on. Thanks in advance.

Go there and search for "Idora Park." There are plenty of pictures, then and now, of the park in various states. You may also want to search this site for the same thing, and see what turns up.

Attendance lagged, the area around it changed, local businesses went bust, the Wildcat burned, the park was landlocked, the had competition from Cedar Point, Geaugalake, and PKI, the owners got too old to care for it, and it simply died.
