This has been known since IAAPA, just nobody knew where or how. Unfortunately, since it's in Japan, there will be almost no coverage.

Hmmm...longer trains perhaps to increase capacity? There are 3 legs to the main hill as seen in these pictures....a less severe crest could mean much loonger trains.

Another note! Did you see how low to thr ground the track is on that one ture. It'll be like Talon with people under it. Insane!

...I am assuming that the pathways will be moved? Tats like 5 feet above the ground in places, literally, right in the middle of a walkway (itlooks)... I would assume they would take out those paths :)

I cant wait to see this thing when its finished.

i dont see how 107 could reach 350 feet. there is just no way. thats so high. id say more like 250 whiuch is still really high. this thing looks sooo much better than the one at pki. i almost feel like the one at pki was a waste of money now since they dont look that exciting with just one hill and a long straight track. now i really think cp should get one of these in 2002 and get a set of cci woodies, one an outnback and one a ghostrider type layout that goes around the outnback 100 times. thatd be the day

What CP needs to do is make a clone of that ride, but only like INCHES bigger so it can claim the tallest coaster on the planet. Sweet justice wouldn't ya think?

Bryang, I agree with you about the 350 feet. Stan Checketts mentioned 320 or so feet in an article somewhere, that sounds about right to me, not 350.

Actually, I think that's right, check this out: The height difference from horizontal to the top of the vertical track is 328 ft on Superman:TE. I have seen it kiss those emergency brakes before, and also seen it not go too far up due to a heavy train. (Of course, it's launch isn't adjusted every time like on the TA2Ks) A thrust air going 107 might be able to crest a hill of about 320 feet.

Can we talk about anything without bringing Cedar Point into the discussion? I grow tired of thread after thread with dozens of posts about what Cedar Point needs and what they will do. Ugh... enjoy 2001 and worry about what Cedar Point is going to build when they actually announce it!
